Chris Kotarski

Hello everybody! I am Christopher George Kotarski, I was born March, 11th 1978. I do carry many Pisces tendencies around with me, but not always. I have been around the band Glowb before there was a band called Glowb. If that makes any sense.

I cannot tell you how many wonderful and crazy points of my life have been shared with members of the band, I truly love the team, we have a lot of fun. I don't want to lie it is not all puppys, icecream, and rainbows. I have had some throw-downs with the guys too. Mainly Corey! Corey and I have that brotherly love thing going on. We will be loving each other one night and then cursing each other out the next. I may have pissed off everyone in the band and maybe even their girlfriend or someone in their family, but the good outweighs all of it! Seriously, living and working with everyone in the band has taught me a great deal about human nature, compassion, hard work, coping with fear, and struggling through those tough spots of life.

One thing I have tried to do when lining up shows for Glowb is team them up with other open minded bands and I really feel so special to be able to have worked with a whole barrel full of great bands and extremely great people: Simplicity, Rootstand, The Ragbirds, Smokestack, Covert Operations, Causeway, The Track Shack - all the crazy and wondeful Brighton kids! Weathered Tone, Flea Flicker, Ras Paka Lolo, every band Todd Nickola gets together -> Celebrity Death Tokes are up there, Booby Scooter, Oh My God!, Diver, Grasshoppah, With Special Guests, Larval, Pala, A3M, The Bakers, Lord Kinjo, Jak Stout, The Ingersols, Killer Miller, Metaphysical Jones, Super Strain, Jebus, Lead Foot, Stash, Electric Magi, Electric Medicine, The SweatShop Band, Raven House, The Slip, the great and mighty John Sinclair, Dr. Doug, Hurm Sanford, Chuck Bartels, Dan K Project, Stick Arms, Lava Baby, Deep Space Six, Lela, Doorman Hensley, the whole Churchill's crew, Jason and Matt @ The Blind Pig, TC's Speakeasy and staff, Chad and crew at Rube's, Mo Doggies, Keith Jennings, The Creative Alliance, The UncommonSense, Rodney and the crew at The Loft, Lapeer Farmer's Market, Charlie and the Monroe St. Fair at Hash Bash, Bim Willow and Dennis, Joel Rash, Back Forty, Ken and Bridgette at the Red Shed, Greater Flint Arts Council, Timothy's Pub, Tim Petrowski, Joe, Joe and the crew at Villa Marine, the town of Frankfurt: breakfast at Jo Annes! The Boss from Simplicity, Twenty After, The Relaxation Shop, Hugos Pizza, Earth Worm Jim, Camel Back Jack, Old Crow, The Cat's Pajamas, The Church of Love, Georgie Saundergill and Danny, Dan and Bunny Planck, the Deverells, the Teeples, the Athenium Hotel staff, all of the maids at all of the hotels where we slept over, Paris and I guess your uncle(without him we wouldn't have the song Elberta Beach), Eric Burris, Chops and Bago, you all have been great to me and to the band.

I have had a great time at all the shows, after hours, pre-party, hot tub, caravan, on tour, plane station, train station, bus station, space station, middle of the winter, end of the summer, stuck in the beginning of the spring - parties, theme parties, all the fucking theme parties, band rehearsal, band meeting, band fight, band make-up, going away, coming home, graduation, marriage, wow, where does the time go or come from?

My family, mother, father, brother, I love you, thanks. I love all my aunts and uncles and grandparents so much, they are all really great people. I still love all of my ex-girlfriends, hi, hope your doing well. Rest assured, I will love all of my future girlfriends.

Poetry, weirdos, strange travel plans, these all turn me on. On stage live groove is the place to be. Like the wind that rustles the leaves of the trees, live music weaves into my soul and shakes the bough of my mind. I thank Sarah Hoppe for taking me on my first summer Phish tour and opening my mind to a whole new world. I want to have Glowb summer tour and have the traveling poets, counter-culture activists, romantics, adventurists, freedom loving cats and birds follow the tour around the great terrain of our globe. I love the bands Phish, Ekoostik Hookah, Moe., Widespread Panic, The Grateful Dead, Pearl Jam, Talking Heads, Led Zeppelin, too many to list for sure.

I hope everybody enjoys their time while they are here. Put your chips on blue. Hazel nut open eyes. These scenes we've seen before. Remember never-ever compromise the jam! El Mithchoachan! Chris and Jessie Ray Ray - I love you guys, Will and Jade, Rick and Bev - I love you guys. All the old school Lapeer love baby.

Be Good,
Kotar
